Times are changing Now a days businesses are more concern about fire and safety than before. The way of taking security measures has changed a lot Fire incidents that happened in some companies taught a lesson that safety can’t be over looked. The Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act 2009 was passed to improve the effectiveness of fire protection and safety systems in various types of buildings in the state of Maharashtra The Act contains guidelines for the protection of all establishments in Maharashtra.
SCOPE OF WORK: SCOPE OF WORK AS PER FIRE PREVENTION & AMP
LIFE SAFETY MEASURES ACT & TAC (Tariff Advisory Commiee) Fire System and equipment inspecon and repair All Fire systemsinclude fire alarms water pipes hydrants re exnguishers, singes etc. They are regularly inspected to ensure their proper working.
The whole process includes:
1. Service of HYDRANT Point: Hydrant valve, lugs oiling, branch cleaning, hose cleaning, cap cleaning.
2. Service of HOSE REEL: Hose Drum oiling, pipe cleaning.
3. Service of Hose Pipe: Checking of physical condion, operang coupling condion, washers, etc.
4. Service of Buerfly & Gong valve in Sprinkler point: Checking of NRV, Buerfly, Air release, ball valve for working condion,
water leakage, welding joint leakage, etc.
5. Service of Smoke Detector: Incl heat detector, MCP, Hooter, checking of physical condion, baery, etc.
6. Service of Fire Alarm Control Panel: Panel configuraon, baery condion, system should be healthy.
7. Service of Fire Exnguisher : As per IS 2190.
8. Service of Sprinkler Head: Visual checking of sprinkler.
9. Service of Pump Room : Visual inspecng and if needed checking of fire pump.
10. FLUSHING OUT: Till the clear water comes, approx. 30 minutes trial.
